Tulip Festival In Pictures...

This weekend the weather was beautiful,( in Oregonian-speak that means not raining), so we headed down to the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival in Woodburn. I had been there ages ago when I was a pre-teen with my parents, and I'm sure I was so busy being cool back then that I didn't notice the beauty that surrounded me.

It truly is breathtaking. Lucy loved it. She went from row to row smelling the "frowers" and saying "mmmmmm". Adorable, as usual. She is in an all-out "Mama" stage right now and I'm loving it. She is absolutely thrilled when I walk through the door to pick her up from work in the afternoons and this weekend, when she woke up and I was there she exclaimed "Ohhh Mama, Ughs Ughs" (translation: hugs, hugs) and gave me huge smiles and snuggles. I love it.

Here is the Tulip Festival In Pictures (sorry there are so many, I can't choose my favorites because it was just so amazingly lovely) Enjoy!...

We live in Gresham and had plans to go the festival on Sunday, but we were unable to. Thanks for the beautiful pictures! I can't wait to take Katelyn next year when she's old enough to walk around, too!

Wow! These are so beautiful!!!! All the different colors are just breathtaking! Your daughter is just breathtaking - what a great place to take photos of her cute little self! :) I love the one of the three of you - definitely frame worthy! We have a "Lilac Festival" here, but it's nothing compared to the colors of the tulips! Those are just beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
PS What kind of camera do you have? I have a crappy Kodak Easy share and I'm thinking about upgrading to something a little bit nicer!

Came across your blog from Tabitha's. We took my niece to a tulip farm a few weeks ago and had so much fun. I love your pictures. You have a beautiful family.

Gorgeous photos!!! They're stunning! Have you considered going into photography? You have a great eye. You and your family do some of the neatest outdoor stuff! I've never heard of a tulip festival, but it looks amazing.

Wow, those are absolutely gorgeous! That's so cool that you got to go to a tulip festival. I've seen a few, very few, tulips here but a ton of them at a festival? That's awesome!
