Temporary...

"This is my temporary home
It's not where I belong
Windows and rooms that I'm passing through
This is just a stop, on the way to where I'm going
I'm not afraid because I know this is my
Temporary Home."
-Carrie Underwood

These lyrics make me think tonight...not about my home, but it certainly applies to how I feel sometimes. ::sigh:: I missed my girl today.

I LOVE that song. I'm pretty sure it's about Earth being the temporary home, and Heaven being our final home.

Sorry you're missing your girly at work--Mondays are hard!

I LOVE this song, it reminds me that this earth is just our temporary home, and someday all our tears will be wiped away and we'll be rejoicing in Heaven, far away from the saddness of this earth!

That song is so sad I have to turn the station when it comes on. However, I never imagined it describing my feelings toward being a working mom...good god...now I'll really never be able to listen to it. Signed, a fellow working mommy

Sometimes a girl just needs a good, real song with semi-sad lyrics. It makes you thankful for what you have and mroe likely to wake up tomorrow with a fresh perspective on life.

Keep your head up! Your little girl is beautiful. With love like that, there's no doubt your life has meaning.

Love this song! Found your blog just about 5 seconds ago and read the post title and I knew I had to come and read this post, the reason this was played at a funeral I went to about a month and a week ago for a young lady who went to my school. I dont know your story but, please head on over to my blog and on one of my recent posts you will find a link to the parents blog of this 16 year old who was killed in an accident on Valentines Day :(
Thanks
RIP
